- Installs and tests liquefied petroleum gas, hydrogen, biogas and other natural gasfitting lines
- Installs and commissions gas appliances, such as hot water services, space heaters, ducted heating units, gas stoves and cooktops
- Installs flues through ceilings and roofs with appropriate clearances and flue termination
- Identifies and repairs gas leaks in piping systems and appliances
- Performs routine maintenance on gas appliances to ensure their proper functioning
